DESCRIPTION:What might be helpful for sensory and emotional regulation at h
 ome?\n\nJoin us for a festive and practical session exploring stocking fil
 ler ideas that support sensory and emotional regulation. Whether you're lo
 oking for calming tools\, tactile toys\, or items that help with focus and
  self-soothing\, we'll share a range of suggestions that can make a real d
 ifference at home.\n\nThis event is perfect for parents and carers of chil
 dren with sensory processing differences or emotional regulation needs. Yo
 u’ll leave with inspiration\, ideas\, and a better understanding of what
  might work best for your child’s unique sensory profile.\n\nLet’s mak
 e this season a little more soothing\, one stocking at a time.\n\n\n\nEach
  in-person course will have a max of 15 attendees and will be in a Worksho
 p format.\n\nThe course will run 10am-11.30am and there will be lunch prov
 ided afterwards as well as time for questions for the in-person course. Wh
 en booking\, please do let me know of any dietary requirements. Bookings c
 lose a week before the event to allow planning.\n\nWe apologise – but th
 ese courses are not suitable for children and there is no childcare availa
 ble.\n\nAccessibility\n\n– The ground is all one level\n– There are di
 sabled toilets and a Changing Place\n– There is plenty of parking around
  the back of the building (including Blue Badge spaces) and more on the st

  Supporting Connection • Sharing Tools\n\nJuniper Tree Therapy is a Spec
 ialist Paediatric Occupational Therapy team\, supporting children\, young 
 people and their families across Leeds. We are passionate about supporting
  those with a wide range of unique needs\, including learning difficulties
 \, neurodevelopmental conditions\, physical and motor impairments\, and se
 nsory and emotional difficulties.\n\nWe consider how an individual’s ner
 vous system perceives sensory information\; from the world around them\, a
 nd from within their own body. We then consider how this impacts on the wa
 y that children engage in daily life\, and how they are able to connect wi
 th the important people around them.\n\nWe consider the family as a whole\
 , and we are passionate about ensuring that the child or young person is t
 heir own ‘expert’ about their experiences\, strengths and areas of cha
 llenge. We are also able to interpret their bodily responses\, and the per
 spectives of their close family\, friends\, and other Key Adults.\n\nUsing
  a Sensory Integration and Sensory Attachment Intervention lens helps us t
 o understand what is beneath a presenting difficulty. This means we can cr
 eate recommendations and guidance to help to provide support within each c
 hild’s individual family life. We focus on providing repeated opportunit
 ies for regulation and connection across the day\, to help the brain to
