  for a heartfelt and informative online session designed especially for pa
 rents and carers of autistic children.\n\nLaura will be sharing her family
 ’s lived experience of discovering and embracing AAC (Augmentative and A
 lternative Communication) – from the challenges and myths to the breakth
 roughs and joy it has brought to their lives. This session will be a blend
  of practical advice\, emotional honesty\, and inspiring real-life stories
 .\n\nWhether you're just starting to explore AAC or already using it and l
 ooking for support\, this session will offer:\n\n 	💡 Tips and advice fo

  Laura Brown\nWe’re thrilled to welcome Laura Brown from Spinning World 
 of Autism to our event!\n\nLaura is a passionate AAC (Augmentative and Alt
 ernative Communication) advocate\, speaker\, and writer. She’s the proud
  parent of Ethan\, a cheeky\, curious\, and clever 5-year-old who is autis
 tic\, non-speaking\, and a confident AAC user. Their family’s journey wi
 th AAC has been life-changing—and Laura is now on a mission to raise awa
 reness\, improve training\, and push for better funding for AAC access in 
 schools and at home.\n\nLaura is also autistic herself\, receiving her dia
 gnosis a year after Ethan’s. Her lived experience as both a parent and a
 n autistic adult fuels her powerful advocacy work.\n\nShe’s spoken at th
 e Houses of Parliament\, been a Keynote Speaker at Communication Works Nor
 th\, featured on ITV News\, and contributed to the National Autistic Socie
 ty. Her voice is helping shape a more inclusive\, understanding world for
