 The roles and responsibilities of an emergency paediatric first aider\n 	A
 ssessing an emergency situation\n 	Dealing with an unresponsive infant or 
 child\n 	Recovery Position\n 	CPR and defibrillation\n 	Choking\n 	Minor I
 njuries\n 	Bites and Stings\n 	Seizures\n 	External Bleeding\n 	Hypovolaem
 ic shock\n\nWe have also added 30 extra minutes to answer any specific que
 ries that our families may have (i.e. How to deal with a choking child in 
 a wheelchair\, how to administer first aid to a pre-verbal child\, etc). T
 o ensure best use of this time\, if you have any queries you want to ask a
 t this session\, please email me on info@littlehiccups.co.uk after booking
  and I will email them in advance to the trainers.\n\nPlease note\, this c
 ourse is aimed at parent/carers of children with additional needs and disa
 bilities and the subsidisation is aimed at supporting them. If you are wan
 ting training for a PA for your child\, please email me on info@littlehicc
 ups.co.uk to discuss costs. \n\nThe course will run 9.15am-4.45pm and the
 re will be lunch provided. When booking\, please do let me know of any die
 tary requirements. Bookings close a week before the event to allow plannin
 g.\n\nWe apologise – but these courses are not suitable for children and
  there is no childcare available.\n\n\n\nMeet The Trainer\nFirst On Scene 
 are Ofqual regulated qualifications delivered by medical professionals who
  have years of experience dealing with real-life emergencies.\n\nJayne Mye
 rs worked in the Ambulance Service for 20 years\, serving 12 years as a Pa
 ramedic. Jayne holds a City &amp\; Guilds Teaching Certificate and has ove
 r 10 years’ experience in delivering a wide range of courses\, including
  instructor programmes and courses in the field of pre-hospital care.\n\nh
