Having a zapping time

We visited LazerZone at Xscape in Castleford to take advantage of their SEND sessions. A SEND session included reduced numbers (max of 20 in total), lights left on a little brighter, less smoke and less noise. It meant that children who may otherwise struggle with sensory input were able to play safely. We organised two back to back sessions so had a total of 40 attending.

I was wandering around with my camera (which meant I got shot a lot!) and it really was a calmer environment and it looked like all the children and adults were enjoying themselves.

Best of all, there was pizza after and each child got to take home a goodie bag at the end. We didn’t forget the parents and tea and coffee was on tap. After all, we know how important caffeine is to the SEND parent!
