About this event

Join Little Hiccups and a wonderful collective of Leeds-based organizations at The Old Fire Station as we celebrate International Day of People with Disabilities.

This is a community-led event designed to celebrate the diversity, achievements, and voices of people with a variety of disabilities. Whether you are looking for support, want to hear from inspiring speakers, or simply want to enjoy some live music and cake, everyone is welcome!

What to Expect

• Live Music: Enjoy a performance by the Through Our Eyes musical band.

• Inspirational Speakers: Hear from Richard Burgon (MP for East Leeds), the Leeds United Foundation, and local advocates including Annemarie Davies and Karen Thomas.

• Community Support: Meet teams from Little Hiccups, Scope, Healthwatch Leeds, Parkinson’s UK, and many more to learn about local services.

• Tech Support: On-site assistance for your technology needs.

• Refreshments: Hot and cold food, drinks, and cakes will be available to purchase throughout the event.
