There is no better way to wake up than with the sweet smell of bath bombs and a bit of “Fun and Games!” Last Sunday, March 29th, our Little Hiccups families headed over to the White Rose Centre for an exclusive, private party at Lush.
It was an admittedly early start (especially with the clocks changing!), but we were thrilled to see so many smiling faces. Thankfully, the White Rose entrances were all open for easy parking, and the upstairs McDonald’s was ready and waiting with much-needed coffee to help us kick off the day!
Sensory Fun and Spring Games
Because we had the shop to ourselves before the general public arrived, it was a wonderfully quiet and relaxed environment. We opted for the “Fun and Games” package, which was perfectly tailored to be a hands-on, sensory experience.
The Lush staff were absolutely incredible—so friendly, welcoming, and brilliant at interacting with the children. From exploring “Spring-themed” games to getting stuck into the products, everyone had plenty to do to keep occupied without feeling overwhelmed.
What Our Families Said
We’ve already had some lovely feedback from those who attended:
“The whole event was fantastic, the children had plenty to do to keep them occupied but without being overwhelmed.”
“Seeing friends and having fun in a relaxed environment. Staff very friendly and polite and interacted with the kids really well.”
A Relaxing End to the Day
Every attendee went home with a lovely gift bag filled with Lush goodies. My own little one was straight in the bath with her new bath bomb as soon as dinner was over! No arguments this day!
A huge thank you to the team at Lush White Rose for hosting us and making the session so accessible and inclusive for our families. Between the disabled parking and the Changing Places facility at the centre, it made for a stress-free morning for everyone.
Did you join us for the Lush party? We’d love to see your bath bomb photos! Tag us on social media or send us your feedback.
