📝 About the Session
- What we will be doing: A comprehensive 1-Day Emergency Paediatric First Aid training course, specially adapted for parent carers. We will cover essential life-saving skills including basic life support for babies and children, CPR, dealing with choking, unconsciousness, seizures, bleeding, shock, minor injuries, burns, and the safe use of an AED (defibrillator). There will also be dedicated time to address specific questions about your child.
- What to expect (The Vibe): Informative, supportive, and practical. While this is an accredited course, Chris delivers training in an approachable and engaging way to build your confidence. You are welcome to submit child-specific questions via the comment box when booking so Chris can address them during the session.
- Who it’s for: Strictly for parents and carers of children with additional needs or disabilities. Over 18s only. Please note this session is not open to external training or for PA’s (unless paying full price), as spaces are funded specifically to support parent carers. There is no childcare available. To receive your official 3-year certificate, you must stay for the full duration of the course.
