Last weekend, we had the pleasure of attending a delightful sensory party at Lush in the White Rose Centre. This private event, held before the centre opened, provided an accepting and welcoming environment perfect for children to explore and enjoy.
Spring-Themed Fun and Games
The party was themed around spring, featuring a variety of games and activities designed to engage the senses. We opted for the Fun and Games package, which included some of Lush’s favourite products and lots of hands-on fun. The children were thrilled with the wobbly castle in ice, a unique sensory experience that allowed them to play and feel the icy textures.
Interactive Stations
The event was packed with interactive stations that kept everyone entertained. The bubble station was a hit, with children creating and popping bubbles to their heart’s content. At the bath bomb making station, they got creative and made their own bath bombs in the shape of a Easter bunny, choosing from a range of colours. The creation station with bath play doh was another favourite, where kids could mould and shape their own bath-time creations.
A Gift for Everyone
Each attendee received a special gift bag filled with Lush goodies, making the experience even more memorable. The party lasted for an hour and a half, providing ample time for everyone to enjoy the activities and take home their creations.
Accessibility and Comfort
Lush in the White Rose Centre ensured that the event was accessible to all. With plenty of disabled parking, lifts, disabled toilets, and a Changing Place, everyone could participate comfortably.
