‘Eat this…eat during these hours…eat these kinds of foods…they should be eating here…definitely don’t let them eat like that…’
There is so much information and social media influence telling us how we and our kids should be eating. But what really are the priorities here? How does our decision making in this moment affect the next food opportunity for this young person?
Together we will go through the foundations of care for making in-the-moment decisions that also help create a more positive relationship young person has with food.
This webinar will help you solidify your priorities of care whether and set neuro-affirming goals with a family. When we know what matters most and why, we can be more confident in supporting our young people to eat.
In addition, we will explore the intersection of co-occurring medical conditions and how this impact your young person’s food and eating choices. We will also expand this conversation into discussing selective eating, ARFID and PFD (paediatric feeding disorder).
Each in-person course will have a max of 15 attendees and will be in a Workshop format.
The course will run 10am-12pm and there will be lunch provided afterwards as well as time for questions for the in-person course. When booking, please do let me know of any dietary requirements. Bookings close a week before the event to allow planning.
