Ponderosa Zoo is a fantastic destination for animal lovers and families. Home to over 100 animals, including lemurs, meerkats, alpacas, and wallabies, the zoo offers a variety of engaging activities and exhibits. Little Hiccups has hired our both of the Educational Rooms so that you can use them as a Quiet Area for the children or to eat a packed lunch in.

Highlights:

• Educational Talks: Learn about the animals and their habitats from knowledgeable zookeepers.
• Outdoor Play Areas: Let the kids enjoy the adventure playgrounds, zip wire, and man-made beach.

• Wheelchair Hire: Wheelchairs are available for hire free of charge, but it’s recommended to call in advance to ensure availability.

• Parking: The zoo offers free parking, including designated disabled parking spaces.
• Assistance Dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the zoo, except in the Lemur Lookout. Please inform the admissions team upon arrival if you have an assistance dog with you.
• No Changing Place Toilet
  One of our families have called and have been told there is a table in the baby changing room that we can use. This is in the main toilet block next to nocturnal enclosure.
