📝 About the Session
- What we will be doing: Exploring the healing benefits of Reiki, identifying our chakras, and learning about the body systems they rule. We will participate in a relaxing meditation to ‘clean our chakras’, form a reiki circle to receive Reiki from Kathleen together as a group, and explore alternate natural healing ‘self-help’ resources such as angel cards, plants, crystals, and jewellery. Plus, everyone gets to take home handouts and a crystal keepsake!
- What to expect (The Vibe): Deeply restorative, relaxing, and educational. This is a structured workshop setup limited to a maximum of 15 attendees, giving you a wonderful glowing radiance and feelings of peace, security, and well-being. Please feel free to wear comfy clothes and bring an optional blanket or back/neck support cushion for your ultimate comfort.
- Who it’s for: Strictly for parents and carers of children with additional needs or disabilities. Over 18s only. We apologise, but these courses are not suitable for children and there is no childcare available. This is your time to unwind, recharge, and connect with people who understand.
- Date & Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm (followed immediately by lunch and time for questions). Bookings close a week before the event to allow for planning.
🎤 About Our Presenter / Guest Speaker
Who is joining us: Kathleen, a qualified Reiki practitioner (attuned to level 2) and certified Physiognomist (face reader).- What they will be sharing: Kathleen will be leading us through the healing foundations of Reiki—a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. She will be administering Reiki (via laying of hands on or off the body, whichever you prefer) during our group circle and sharing her rituals on how to use everyday natural elements to enhance daily well-being.
- About the Presenter: Kathleen is a freelance Teacher, Choreographer, and former Dance Therapist with over 30 years of experience in the performing arts and therapeutic education. She is a massive advocate for equality, accessibility, and belonging. She is also a proud mum and carer to three wonderful children (two of whom are neurodivergent) and has recently been diagnosed with ADHD herself, meaning she truly understands the unique journeys of our families.
