In our goals to #MakeMemories and achieve #NoLimits we are visiting Hollingworth Lake for watersports this June!

Please note: this event is unfortunately not suitable for constant oxygen users. Wheelchair users are able to attend but will need to be taken out of wheelchairs. There is a hoist and 4 beanbags available for use. 

Wetsuits will be provided. Please bring a swim kit and also trainers or pumps that can get wet, no sliders or flipflops. Alternatively you can participate in your own clothes but bring a change in case you get wet.

You will need to book all that are taking part in the activities including adults and all children. Spectators do not need to book a slot. Under 8’s will need an adult with them on the water at all times. 

There will be a selection of activities available, including:

Suitable for all

• Day trip boat. Takes approx 25 min and can hold a maximum of 12 people at a time. This is suitable for all including babies and young children.

Able Bodied

• Windsurfing. Need to be able to stand.
• Sailing Boats
• Kayaks
• Small and Large Paddle Boats

Less Able Bodied

• Giant Stand Up Paddle Board. Can be hoisted on but needs some sitting stability once in. Can take up to 10 people
• Pedalos. Can be hoisted in and used with beanbags or lie down. 2 boats available. Can take 4 people.
• Sailing Boat. Can be hoisted into a sling seat.
• Joyride boat. Can be hoisted and used with beanbags. All ages.

Toilets  – There is a disabled toilet and a Changing Place facility with a hoist and a bed.

Parking – There is a Pay and Display Car Park right outside. Blue Badge is free.

Quiet Room – There is a space available for a Quiet Room which will also double up as a picnic area.

Food – There is no on site cafe but there is a space available to eat a packed lunch (this space also doubles up as a Quiet Room, so please be considerate of other families that may need private use for a short while) and there are shops, a cafe and arcades over the road.
