We’ve worked with Made with Music for many years and they are just wonderful. They are engaging, accessible and fun. We’ve often held small music sessions in our Stay n Play’s but have often wondered about doing something bigger for all the children to access. Because everyone loves music!

As Made with Music often hold Mini Gigs we will be following their format (why change a winning formula) but with some differences to make it a Little Hiccups event.

The doors will open at 12pm but the first act will be 12.30pm. The acts will finish at 2.30pm. There will be time for mingling before finishing at 3pm.

We will have the following acts:

Sets will be short with breaks in between for the children. We have confirmed a face painter and balloon modelling for entertainment and are hoping to confirm a circus act shortly!

Tickets will need to be purchased for all attendees other than ‘Babes in Arms’
CAN YOU PLEASE LET US KNOW THE AGES OF ALL ATTENDING CHILDREN IN COMMENTS – so we can adjust the music as required 🙂

Accessibility
Access is level and suitable for wheelchairs.

Parking

There is plenty of on street parking nearby. However, there are limited disabled parking spots. However, you will be able to drive fairly close to the entrance to drop off a child then find a parking place. There are limited spaces in the venue which is a pay and display car park.

There is also a bar for drinks.

Sensory

Please bring ear defenders if you have them and you think they may be required. There will be 9 available to borrow on the day if needed.

There will also be a black out tent available in cases of Sensory Overload or if a child just needs some relax time.

There will be a pre-information sheet including a photo guide handed out to all attendees with the schedule on.

Toilets

At the Brudenell there is one accessible toilet, which is situated 30 metres from the main room and 16 metres from the Community room.We are looking at booking the Mobiloo and will confirm if we are able. If not, the nearest Changing Place is Leeds Rhino’s stadium: https://changingplaces.uktoiletmap.org/toilet/view/1348

If you were not lucky enough to get a space this time round, please email Miriam on info@littlehiccups.co.uk to be added to the waiting list in case anyone drops out. Please include your name and the number and type of tickets you would require.
