This week, Little Hiccups had the pleasure of visiting the stunning Harewood House. Our representatives, Lindsay Medica and Noel Davies-Atack, met with the lovely Kate Hall, Community Engagement Coordinator, to talk about accessibility, inclusion, and exciting future plans.
We were delighted to hear about the current discounts available for SEND and disabled visitors, and to discuss the potential installation of a Changing Places facility – a much-needed addition that would make a huge difference to many of our families.
One initiative we’re especially proud to support is the Harewood Accessibility Consultation Panel, where Little Hiccups will have the opportunity to help shape future improvements. It’s fantastic to see Harewood’s commitment to making their site more inclusive and welcoming for all.
And we’ve got some exciting news! Little Hiccups families will be getting creative as part of Harewood’s Scarecrow Trail this September – a fun, imaginative, and family-friendly event we’re really looking forward to.
A heartfelt thank you to Kate and the Harewood team for their time, enthusiasm, and dedication. We’re excited to continue working together to champion accessibility and inclusion for all families.
