Farmyard Fun and Hilarious Histrionics: A Week at Drama for the Heart!

Farmyard Fun and Hilarious Histrionics: A Week at Drama for the Heart!

Farmyard Fun and Hilarious Histrionics: A Week at Drama for the Heart!

March 9, 2026 Events

If you happened to hear the sounds of tractors revving and cows strutting to 90s pop hits last Friday, don’t worry—it was just our latest Drama for the Heart session! Our theme was ‘Down the Farmyard’, and it’s safe to say we didn’t just embrace the theme; we ran with it (and occasionally strutted).

Laughter is such a vital part of what we do at Little Hiccups, and this week provided it in spades. Here is a look at what our wonderful group got up to:

Highlights from the Barnyard

  • The Human Tractor: We kicked things off with physical theatre, using our bodies to build a moving tractor. It took some coordination, but we got the “engine” running!
  • The Farmyard Catwalk: In perhaps the most memorable moment of the day, we strutted our stuff with animal roleplay. Imagine a room full of farm animals “feeling too sexy” to the tunes of Right Said Fred… the results were as hilarious as you’d expect!
  • Soap Operas & Plot Twists: We created mini farmyard soap operas, complete with dramatic sound effects and shock twists. Trying to guess everyone’s characters and plots during the showcase had us all in absolute hysterics.
  • All Creatures Great and Small: We wrapped up by reenacting our own version of the classic series. Our very own vet, ‘James Harriet’, was on hand to assess some very unusual animal patients and their various ailments.

What Our Families Said

We love hearing how these sessions make you feel. This week’s feedback perfectly captured the energy in the room:

“Liberating!”
“Hilarious and satisfying.”
“Just like a normal day for me!” “
I felt proud. Give it a go!”

Next Week: Engines at the Ready! 🚂 ✈️ 🚗

The fun doesn’t stop here. This coming Friday, we are switching gears for our next theme: Planes, Trains & Automobiles! Whether we’re taking to the skies or hitting the open road, it’s bound to be another session full of creativity and laughs.

Join the Chaos!

Our Drama for the Heart sessions are all about building confidence, exploring creativity, and—most importantly—having a brilliant time with people who “get it.”

  • When: Fridays (check the event page for specific dates)
  • Where: Drama for the Heart Event Page >
  • Sign up: You are welcome to join us at any point during the course!

A note on bookings: If you’re joining us part-way through the month, please don’t let the cost of past sessions put you off. Simply sign up, then drop us an email at info@littlehiccups.co.uk and we will happily refund any sessions that have already taken place.

We can’t wait to see you there for more “drama” (the good kind!).
