On a gloriously sunny weekend, Little Hiccups celebrated its 16th birthday in true swashbuckling style with a Mermaids & Pirates Adventure—and what a magical day it was!
From the moment families arrived at the Royal Armouries Museum, the excitement was palpable. The venue was fantastic—spacious, accessible, and perfectly set up for a day of fun, laughter, and celebration. A huge thank you to the team at the Royal Armouries for being so welcoming and supportive!
🌊 Magical Moments & Pirate Shenanigans
Our enchanting mermaid Nixie made quite the splash, captivating little ones with her ocean tales and posing for some truly magical photos. Her presence brought a touch of underwater wonder to the day!
Meanwhile, Susie Sparkles transformed into the ever-charming Ukulele Bill, filling the room with music, laughter, and sea shanties. Her performance had everyone clapping, dancing, and singing along—thank you, Susie, for bringing such joy to the party!
🎨 Creative Fun & Imaginative Play
Our talented face painters and balloon modellers were back and better than ever, turning children into fierce pirates, shimmering mermaids, and everything in between. The creativity on display was incredible!
We also had our Quiet Corner set up with LEGO, sensory toys, and crafts—providing a calm and inclusive space for children who needed a break from the excitement.
🍽️ Delicious Food for All
The buffet was a hit with both kids and adults! From Jamaican jerk chicken and macaroni cheese to chocolate cake pudding and crisps, there was something for everyone—including vegetarian and gluten-free options. A big thank you to the catering team for the delicious spread!
🚗 Supercars, Sunshine & Smiles
Outside, the excitement continued with a surprise visit from Supercars & Coffee, adding a touch of high-octane glamour to the day. And yes—it was HOT! But our amazing families powered through the heat with smiles, laughter, and plenty of hydration.
