Or at least a couple of hours learning circus skills, but who is quibbling.

So this event was very last minute as we had one fall through a week before it happening. It was recommended to me by a family, and I’m very glad it was.

When you head over to their Facebook page, you are met with the banner – “Circus Skills for everyone. All Ages. All Abilities.” So, of course, I phone them up and ask if they really mean ALL abilities. And the wonderful thing is that they did. They were adamant they could adapt to ensure everyone was able to take part. And of course, with that assurance, I booked them.

And they came through. They were lovely, approachable and above all fun. The kids had a great time, and I think a great deal of parents did too. There really was something for everyone.

We chose to do a dip in and out session so the kids could chose as and when they wanted to engage. We also had a craft session running in the background so that children could stick and glue in between learning new circus skills!

A huge thank you as well to Leeds Mencap for allowing us to use their venue, for feeding us and for opening up the Sensory Room for those kids that needed a breather.
