📝 About the Event

• What it is: A community ticket giveaway! The team at Circus Zyair have kindly offered complimentary tickets to Little Hiccups families for their high-energy, dazzling touring circus show under the Big Top at Roundhay Park.
• Event Style & Little Hiccups Role: Please note this is not an official Little Hiccups-run event or hosted group session. It is an independent public performance run entirely by Circus Zyair. Little Hiccups is simply administering and distributing complimentary tickets to our registered families.
• Who it’s for & Group Size: Open exclusively to registered Little Hiccups families. We have a set allocation of complimentary tickets across the two performance dates.
• Performance Dates & Times: Monday 28 September at 6:00 pm OR Tuesday 29 September at 6:00 pm.

🚗 Getting There & Arrival

• Venue Address: Circus Zyair Big Top, Soldiers Field, Roundhay Park, Leeds, LS8 1JX.
• Circus Website: https://www.circus-zyair.co.uk
• Parking & Drop-Off: Public parking is available at Roundhay Park, including the car park off Princes Avenue. As the Big Top is located on Soldiers Field, please allow plenty of time to park and walk across to the marquee entrance.
• Arrival Procedure: Because this is an external event, Little Hiccups staff will not have a welcome desk. You will attend independently: simply take your Circus Zyair e-tickets (which you download after using our code on their site) directly to the main Big Top entrance doors where circus front-of-house staff will scan you in.
• Entrance Doors: Standard marquee entrance from park level into the Big Top.

🚶 Moving Around Inside

• Circus Layout: A traditional touring circus Big Top tent with central ring and tiered grandstand seating surrounding the arena.
• Accessibility & Wheelchair Users: Grandstand rows involve stepped seating. Step-free wheelchair spaces are available at ground / ringside level. Please ensure you select accessible/wheelchair spaces when booking through the Circus Zyair website.
• Flooring: Covered event matting/boarding inside the main Big Top area over park turf.

🚽 Toilets & Changing Facilities

• Accessible Toilets: Dedicated portable accessible / disabled-access toilets are provided on-site by Circus Zyair directly outside the marquee.
• Changing Places Toilet: There is no Changing Places facility on Soldiers Field at the circus site.
• General Facilities: Temporary event portable toilets are located on-site for general audience use.

🎧 Sensory & Calm Spaces

• Lighting & Sound: Circus Zyair is a loud, stimulating, full theatrical show featuring dynamic modern music, theatrical lighting, strobe and flashing effects, energetic sound effects, and audience cheering. We strongly advise bringing ear defenders for any children or adults sensitive to loud noises.
• Quiet Breakout Spaces: Because this is an external touring show, Little Hiccups is unable to provide our usual sensory tent or chill-out room. However, you are completely free to step outside the Big Top tent at any point during the show into the open park grounds if your child needs a sensory break.

🍰 Food & Drinks

• Venue Concessions: Circus Zyair has stalls inside selling typical circus refreshments such as popcorn, candy floss, confectionery, and soft drinks. Food and drinks are not provided as part of the complimentary ticket allocation.
• Dietary Info & Bringing Your Own: If your family requires specific food, snacks, or drinks for medical or sensory reasons, we recommend bringing these with you.

🌳 Outdoor Spaces

• Ground Conditions: The Big Top is situated directly on Soldiers Field. The surrounding ground is open grass parkland, which can be uneven or soft underfoot depending on the weather. Paved paths circle the wider park.
• Park Amenities: The venue is situated inside Roundhay Park, offering extensive open green spaces and park grounds before or after the performance.

⛑️ Safety & Support

• Venue Stewards & First Aid: Venue security, front-of-house stewards, and trained first-aid staff are managed on-site directly by Circus Zyair. Little Hiccups staff will not be present in an official supervisory capacity.
• Emergency Exits: Emergency exits are situated around the circumference of the tent, leading directly out onto the grass field.
