Earlier this year, we shared the fantastic news that Little Hiccups had been chosen as Holy Trinity Church Meanwood’s Charity of the Year. Today, we are absolutely thrilled to share an update on just how wonderfully the congregation has supported us so far!
Last week, we received a generous donation of £2,701.85 directly into our bank account.
Cuppas, Cakes, and Community Generosity
Every year, Holy Trinity Church selects a charity partner and commits a fixed sum from church funds. To help that support go even further, the congregation tops it up throughout the year with funds raised from their Sunday morning coffee, tea, and cake sales.
Every slice of cake enjoyed and every cuppa poured after Sunday services has directly contributed to this magnificent total. To make things even more exciting, they are not yet done!
What This Means for Little Hiccups
Donations like this make a direct, tangible difference to the families we support across Leeds. These funds will go towards:
- Funding our fully accessible family events and fun days out, ensuring children with additional needs and their siblings make unforgettable memories together.
- Supporting our regular stay-and-play sessions, sensory activities, and parent support networks.
- Helping us maintain and bring accessible equipment, such as our Mobile Changing Unit, to community events so no family is left out.
