Little Hiccups have just launched their new fundraising initiative provided by external lottery manager ‘Your Charity Lottery.’ This opportunity gives all supporters the chance to win up to £10,000 through a weekly draw whilst helping to raise essential funding at the same time. Supporters can now sign up via Little Hiccups’ social media pages or by visiting their website. Everyone that signs up before the end of July will also automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a Gin Hamper donated by Ison Harrisons Solicitors.
Miriam Watson-Pratt, Secretary and Events Organiser at Little Hiccups, said: “Fundraising can be quite challenging, so being able to offer a unique way to fundraise is an excellent way to capture a new audience and hopefully give them something back in return in the form of a prize. Due to ongoing fundraising hurdles; we have had to develop different initiatives to raise the funds to help keep our activities available and to the ambitious standards we strive for. We think a lottery is a long term, fun way to raise funds while being able to offer our supporters something back. Setting up a lottery holds a lot of costs and red tape, so knowing about ‘Your Charity Lottery’ we decided to contact them regarding a partnership. We became a beneficiary, so we can now offer a lottery with no risk or hassle, and it’s a way for our supporters to help us raise valuable funds at affordable weekly amounts with the chance of becoming a jackpot prize winner. Your Charity Lottery has provided us with a risk-free fundraising tool that will hopefully allow us to build a regular and sustainable income, and it is quite clever”.

We were thrilled to announce that renowned boxer Josh Warrington attended our launch event to show his support for Little Hiccups and our new charity lottery initiative. Josh’s involvement will bring additional excitement and attention to our cause, highlighting the importance of community support and charitable giving. His presence underscores the value of our efforts and the impact we aim to have on the families we serve.
Josh Warrington is a professional boxer from Leeds, England. Known for his relentless fighting style and impressive work rate, he has held multiple titles in the featherweight division. Warrington gained prominence by winning the British, Commonwealth, and European featherweight titles before moving on to capture the IBF featherweight title in 2018. His notable victories include wins over Lee Selby, Carl Frampton, and Kid Galahad. Warrington is celebrated for his passionate fan base and his significant contributions to British boxing.
The draw is just £1 a week per game number and gives players the chance to win one of 82 prizes each week whilst supporting a local charitable cause that relies heavily on the community’s financial support.

About Little Hiccups
Through personal experience we recognise the importance of allowing the families of a child with an additional need or learning disability the opportunity to meet people in similar situations, to make friends and support each other.
We offer a range of support from our Outreach Programme for those families that are just not quite ready to come to one of our sessions. But for those who are, we offer a variety of support from Stay and Play to monthly Family Fun Days.
As a charity, they must raise sufficient funds to cover operational needs, which is always challenging. Since 2020, fundraising has become more difficult due to economic changes which impacts generation of income. Now the cost-of-living crisis is having an on-going impact.
