So as always with these Photo shoot events it is never as easy as it seems! We book them over two weekends (9 families each weekend) but as its indoors we tend to book in the winter months. Of course, Storm Ciara and then Storm Dennis this year had a thing or two to say about that and it meant a couple of rearrangements. Thank you to all the families that were so understanding with this and apologies to the families that couldn’t make the new dates. Same time again next year and lets hope one year we get decent weather!
My kids and I visited Dean as the last time we went my youngest had to be propped up to stop her falling over (she’s was 4 months then and is 3 years now). We didn’t do it though Hiccups as didn’t want to take a slot but we love Dean’s photos so much that we booked privately alongside the Hiccups slots.
Got to say – never known anyone to manage all three of my kids the way he does.
If you want to meet the three most eclectic children, then just meet mine. My eldest is a typical teenager and hard to drag out of her bedroom let alone ease a smile out of. My middle child on the other hand is a bundle of energy, can never sit still and literally bounces of the walls whereas my youngest is so shy she rarely leaves my side when we go to new places.
Got to say…I do always go to places with a sense of dread of what could happen. Especially with the bouncy one as he can be hard to control in confined spaces.
As it happens it was not a problem it seems and we got some wonderful photos of them all together and separately. We started off with the extrovert and let the two introverts watch. As expected, he loved being the centre of attention and we went through a variety of fun poses. I’ve always loved photos of my children BEING my children so he got to go creative. Dean as always is so great with him and the two bounce ideas off each other.
We then persuade the eldest to join in (the youngest still refusing to let go of my leg) and for two kids that don’t like to be in the same room together, the results were amazing. They were having fun and it showed and we got some lovely genuine smiles. The tiny one then wanted to join in and managed to squeeze her self in between them both and we were off.
I got photos of them all together, all individual and in separate pairs and they are ALL lovely. I’m struggling to pick my favourites but I’m definitely looking forward to the end result.
Thank you Dean 🙂
