Last weekend was our second visit to Lush in The White Rose Centre and it was everything the first event was cracked up to be. The popularity of this event had reached the point that every ticket was sold out after 45 minutes of releasing them (so sorry to everyone that didn’t get on! We’ll definitely have to do this again!)
On arrival we were met by the lovely, lovely staff who are just so approachable and friendly. We were given a small bag on arrival with a free Drama Llama Bath Bomb which lasted all of an hour when we got back home (have you noticed how easy it is to get children in the bath when there is a bath bomb involved?)
There was several points around the shop with different activities on and we were encouraged to delve into bubbling rainbow waters, have arm massages, make our own bath bomb and basically squish, squeeze and fizz our way through the shop!
We were also treated to play with the new Shower Jelly which was a definite hit with the kids and there were squeals as the slippery jelly ended up on the floor or sliding around the grasping hands in the bowls of water.
The children enjoyed making their own bath bomb as well. They had to squish together a pink, crumbly substance into a small ball, then they could add a bath bomb flower (not a real one!) and then best of all – take home to enjoy! My little one who came with me on the day particularly enjoyed this bit. Mainly because it was pink as everything needs to be pink these days! But it was certainly a hit.
“Thank you for a fantastic event today. The boys thoroughly enjoyed trying and experimenting with new textures. Xx”
