We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Juniper Tree Therapy has chosen Little Hiccups as their charity partner! This exciting collaboration marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey to support families of children with disabilities and additional needs.
Juniper Tree Therapy is a specialist paediatric occupational therapy team based in Leeds, offering expert support to children and young people with a wide range of needs—from neurodevelopmental conditions and sensory challenges to physical and emotional difficulties. Their approach is rooted in Sensory Integration and Sensory Attachment Intervention, helping families understand and respond to the unique ways their children experience the world.
🤝 What This Partnership Means
Juniper Tree Therapy has generously offered a three-strand support package to Little Hiccups families, completely free of charge for the 2025–2026 academic year:
1️⃣ Sensory Library
A small library of sensory equipment will be available for families to explore during our Stay ‘n’ Play sessions. Each item comes with a guide explaining how and why to use it, plus a risk assessment—making it easier for families to trial resources before investing in them. This will be rolled out soon.
2️⃣ Specialist Occupational Therapy Workshops
A series of parent/carer-focused workshops will run throughout the year, covering key topics like emotional regulation, sleep, eating, and hygiene. Highlights include:
- Sensory Stocking Fillers – 2 Dec 2025 at Vinery Centre
- Better Bedtimes – 3 Feb 2026 (Online)
- Encouraging Eating – 28 Apr 2026 at TBC
- Comfortable Care – 30 Jun 2026 at Vinery Centre

3️⃣ Dedicated Resource Portal
Juniper Tree Therapy has created a Little Hiccups Portal on their website, filled with helpful resources that families can access at their own pace.
