Our latest Musical Theatre Workshop was a wickedly wonderful success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the morning!
This workshop also marked our first event at a new venue, and we’re delighted with how it went. The space felt warm, welcoming and much more enclosed, creating a relaxed environment for families from the moment they arrived. It was lovely to be able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while the children immersed themselves in the morning’s activities.
The musical theatre session itself was fantastic, and Kathleen absolutely smashed it once again. The children threw themselves into the Wicked-themed activities from the start, embracing the singing, dancing and performances with enthusiasm and confidence. There were plenty of themed crafts to enjoy on arrival and between rehearsals, keeping everyone busy and adding to the magical atmosphere throughout the day. Although we had a few teething technical issues at the start (A big thank you to everyone for their patience!), they were quickly sorted and the rest of the morning ran smoothly, full of energy, creativity and fun. The costumes and outfits looked incredible, and the children fully embraced the magic of the Emerald City.
We’re incredibly grateful to Swillington Primary School for welcoming us. The venue offers so many fantastic facilities for our families, including a Changing Places toilet, accessible toilets, a dedicated chill-out room for anyone needing some quiet time, and an enclosed parking area. We’re really excited about building our partnership and hosting more events there in the future.
A huge thank you to Kathleen and Swillington Primary School and, of course, all of the amazing children and families who joined us. We can’t wait for the next Musical Theatre Workshop – Wednesday 17th February 2027 – A Toy Story Showtime!!!! To book, please follow the link below –
