Continuing our trial of adult only events for Little Hiccups parents and carers, we descended back to This Green Moon for a lovely themed evening out in the style of a Jamaican night.

It was a perfect autumn evening for it. Crisp and clear. It was still warm when we arrived and were shown to our table (next to the fire – perfect for later on!) The rest of the families started to arrive and although we were allocated two tables, we ended up cramming around one for the company and good conversation.

Through the night, there were three separate bands playing very good music and the food was excellent value and very tasty. So tasty – that I had to sample two desserts of course.

The wine was a little bit tempting. I fully intended to only have one or two but ended up enjoying myself a little bit too much there! And I have to admit that I did pay the price for that the next day – but it was good to be able to let my hair down and not worry about the children for one evening.
