Our Parent/Carer’s Nights out are continuing to be a success and I think this one was the most fun yet. Because who wouldn’t want to throw an axe at a target with friends cheering you on!
We visited Whistlepunks in Millenium Square and were greeted at the entrance by our two lovely “Axe Mommas” Ellie and Abigail, who also taught us how to keep all our fingers and toes intact for the evening and also how to hit that pesky target. They were engaging and really gave the evening a lovely atmosphere and kept the flow going through the night.
And it was lovely for parents to come and chat to each other. We were split into two groups so there was plenty of time in between bouts to catch p and find out about each other.
And not going to lie – the thud of an axe hitting its mark was very, very satisfying. Another thing ticked off for apocalypse training.
Congrats to the overall champ Dazzle (new name he was christened that night – and it’s sticking. Sorry!) and to Sazzle the Runner Up!
Really good company, great fun and a fab new skill learnt!
