One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Little Hiccups is the incredible community that surrounds us. Our families are at the very heart of everything, and when that kindness ripples outwards, it means the absolute world.
Recently, one of our wonderful parent carers, Natalie, reached out with some lovely news. Having experienced first-hand the support Little Hiccups offers families navigating life with additional needs, her fantastic friends decided to organise a festive fundraiser on our behalf!
Caring for a child with additional needs can often feel isolating, and Natalie shared how creative crafting and making jewellery has been an essential outlet for her own well-being. She’ll be having a stall on the day to showcase her beautiful handmade creations, alongside plenty of other festive stalls and activities.
We would love for our community to turn out, show some love, do a bit of early Christmas shopping, and enjoy a brilliant family afternoon!

✨ What’s in Store?
It’s set to be a truly fun, festive day for the whole family, packed with activities, games, and gifts:
- 🦌 Reindeer Food Station: Little ones can mix their own magical bags of oats and festive sprinkles ready for Christmas Eve.
- 🎨 Decorate a Bauble & Christmas Crafts: Lovely make-and-take tables featuring baubles, cards, paper snowflakes, crowns, and tree ornaments.
- 🍬 Sweet Stall: Grab delicious sweet cones or hot chocolate cones to take home.
- 🍾 Wine or Water: Try your luck for £1 a bag—will you take home a bottle of wine or water?
- 🎟️ Raffle & Tombola: Fantastic prizes up for grabs!
- 💍 Handmade Stalls: Unique gifts including handmade jewellery, resin creations, and much more from local makers.

There are still a few tables available for local crafters and makers. If you’d like to book a stall, they are just £5 a table.

Every penny raised from this event will go directly towards helping Little Hiccups continue providing fun family events, outreach, and vital support for families with children who have disabilities or additional needs across Leeds and beyond.
