Last weekend we went back to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and it has changed SO much since the last time we attended. It has at least doubled in size and now spans back at least 65 million years with the addition of some fantastic dinosaurs. I could see children running around (including my now 14 year old who used to be obsessed with them) guessing what they all were before reading the signs. What was great was that most of the children were getting it right.
Then we went to see the animals and managed to see Polar Bears, giraffes, rhinos, a Tiger and an Amur Leopard (love these!) – All were great and were obviously loving the unseasonably warm October weather we managed to get that day. Couldn’t have asked for better really!
The animals were broken up with a multitude of entertaining play parks and lots of benches for the adults.
It was also really nice to bump into so many families and it looked like everyone was enjoying them – especially the ones that managed to bump into the New Zealand Rugby Team.
A huge thank you to the team at Yorkshire Wildlife Park who bent over backwards to get us the wristbands on time.
