We revisited the Showcase Cinema for our annual trip to the cinema. This time we went to see Trolls 3: Band Together. And as always with these types of films there is something for everyone. I honestly don’t know how they get some of these jokes through in a kids movie (as I’m giggling away to them).

For those of us that grew up in the BoyBand era it was set around, there were extra puns galore. For example, this wonderful quote which managed to squeeze a wonderful amount in:

“Branch, we’re out of sync. We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: the back streets.”

Fantastic movie aside – we were also very well looked after by The Showcase Cinema as always – nothing is too much trouble for them and we love coming here. Every person was treated to a snack box. For adults this was popcorn and a drink. For children, popcorn, sweets and a drink.

And we do like this trip so that the families get a chance to experience an event that most people take for granted but isn’t always possible for our families. I had a couple of families that came up to me after and said this is the first time they had been to the cinema as a family. And this is the reason why we’ll keep doing this event. #MakingMemories #NoLimits
