Thought Bubble Comic Art Festival have invited Little Hiccups families the last few years to enjoy their festival for free, and this year was no exception. And as always, it was brilliant. You can definitely see how it is getting bigger year on year and every year we see more excellent cos-play designs. Some people have really put a lot of effort into their characters! This year I had my own with me – a Stitch and a Meridia.

Thought Bubble also has a place called Bub’s Lounge which is brought to us by the wonderful Specialist Autism Services. Bub’s Lounge is a quiet space within the comic convention, for those who may feel overwhelmed by the bustling halls. There is space for people to sit and draw, or just take a breath. They have free earplugs and sunglasses for anyone experiencing some sensory overload too.
