To kick-off this amazing partnership, we spent yesterday at the gorgeous Garforth Golf Club for a charity golf day. And let’s just say, we started the year on par!
A Splash of Colour on the Course 🌈
The weather was absolutely glorious, but honestly, the sunshine had some serious competition from the outfits. The course was a sea of incredibly bright, colourful t-shirts—we’re talking vibrant greens, electric blues, sunny yellows, and popping pinks. Who knew golf could look this fabulous?
While we are still waiting on the official headcount of how many teams took to the fairway and how much was raised on the day, the turnout was brilliant and the atmosphere was buzzing from the very first tee.
The Ultimate Drive-Thru: Buggy Duty & Hotdogs! 🏎️🌭
While the players were busy trying to avoid the sand bunkers, Noel and I sneaked a go at the absolute best job of the day: Buggy Duty.
We were tasked with zooming around the course to keep everyone’s energy up. We promise we operated the buggy with the utmost professional responsibility (mostly!).
We teamed up with some of the wonderful Barratt crew who were busy cooking up a storm and handing out fresh, warm hotdogs right there on the course. Between their hotdog station and our buggy loaded with drinks and sweet treats, we were basically a mobile buffet. The players’ faces absolutely lit up when they saw us rolling over the hill to rescue them from hunger! Or maybe it was when we left them to their golfing…
A Huge, Heartfelt Thank You 🏆
After a full day on the grass, everyone gathered in the clubhouse for some wonderful speeches and a raffle that had some seriously enviable prizes—from luxury champagne to shiny new golf gear and tech goodies.
We want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to Barratt Homes and every single person who came out to play, donate, and cheer us on. Everyone was so incredibly lovely and welcoming, and we are so excited to see what amazing things we can achieve together over the coming year.
