We’re absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with our Little Hiccups family — we’ve been shortlisted for the Community Organisation: Age Award at the 2025 National Diversity Awards!
Out of over 85,000 nominations, only 125 finalists were selected across 10 categories, and we’re incredibly proud to be one of them. This recognition means the world to us — not just as an organisation, but as a community built on love, resilience, and inclusion.
💜 What This Means to Us
Being nominated is a huge honour. It’s a moment to pause and reflect on the journey we’ve taken together — the families we’ve supported, the friendships we’ve built, and the barriers we’ve helped break down. We’re looking forward to the awards evening in Liverpool this September, where we’ll be celebrating alongside other inspiring organisations and individuals who are making a real difference in their communities.
👣 A Little About What We Do
At Little Hiccups, we support families of children with disabilities and additional needs. We provide a safe, welcoming space where families can connect, share experiences, and access inclusive activities and events. From sensory-friendly play sessions to family days out, we work hard to make sure no one feels alone on their journey.
We also advocate for greater accessibility and understanding in the wider community, partnering with local services and raising awareness about the challenges our families face — and the incredible strength they show every day.
