📝 About the Event

• What we will be doing: Join us for a relaxing family afternoon at Bianco Lounge, brought to you by Little Hiccups in collaboration with Bianco Lounge. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere, great company, and delicious food. Little Hiccups will also be bringing along games, sensory toys, and colouring for the children to enjoy!
• Is it structured? This is a very relaxed session with no planned activities. The goal is simply to allow families to enjoy quality family time together and meet other families. Little Hiccups representatives will be there to meet and greet you. Parents and carers remain responsible for their children throughout. Please note that while we have a reserved area, Bianco Lounge will still be open to the public.
• Who it’s for & Group Size: Suitable for all Little Hiccups families. Everyone is welcome, including doggy companions!
• Date & Time: First Sunday of every 3 months at 3:00pm.

• Parking & Drop-Off: Plenty of free parking is available at the White Rose Shopping Centre, including dedicated Blue Badge accessible spaces and electric vehicle charging points.
• Finding Little Hiccups: Look out for our Little Hiccups representatives who will be waiting in our reserved area inside Bianco Lounge to welcome you and show you where to sit!
• Entrance Doors: Accessible level entry through the handsome green tiled entrance leading directly into the venue from the White Rose Shopping Centre.

🚶 Moving Around Inside

• Corridors & Space: A big, light, and airy space featuring rich wallpaper, wood panelling, board games, a book swap, and toys. There is plenty of space between tables for maneuvering wheelchairs and pushchairs.
• Lifts & Levels: The venue is situated on a single flat level with step-free access throughout.
• Seating: Fully wheelchair-accessible seating options alongside a range of comfy chairs and sofas.

🚽 Toilets & Changing Facilities

• Standard Accessible Toilet: Yes, there is a wheelchair-accessible restroom located directly on-site inside Bianco Lounge.
• Changing Places Toilet: Fully equipped Changing Places facilities are available nearby within the White Rose Shopping Centre.
• Family & All-Gender Toilets: Available throughout the White Rose Shopping Centre complex.
• Baby Changing: Dedicated baby changing facilities are available on-site at Bianco Lounge as well as within the main shopping centre amenities.

🎧 Sensory & Calm Spaces

• Lighting & Sound: A bright, naturally lit venue with ambient overhead lighting. As Bianco Lounge remains open to the general public during our session, there will be standard restaurant noise and gentle background music.
• Little Hiccups Quiet Area: Little Hiccups will be bringing along games, sensory toys, and colouring activities for children needing a quiet distraction or focused play.

🍰 Food & Drinks

• What’s provided: Juice will be provided for the children, and every adult will be treated to one free drink courtesy of Little Hiccups! Bianco Lounge are also generously setting out complimentary snacks and nibbles for everyone.
• Dietary Info & Bringing Your Own: On booking, please make sure to inform us of any specific dietary requirements or allergies so we can accommodate you safely.

🌳 Outdoor Spaces

• Paths & Ground: Smooth, flat paving across the outdoor terrace and throughout the shopping centre walkway.
• Play & Seating: Features a lovely outdoor terrace running all along the front of Bianco Lounge with comfortable outdoor seating.
• Hazards to Note: The terrace opens out onto the main shopping centre precinct; parents and carers remain responsible for supervising children at all times.

⛑️ Safety & Support

• First Aid: Little Hiccups staff are first-aid trained, and full security/first-aid support is available on-site via the White Rose Shopping Centre.
• Emergency Evacuation: All emergency exits are step-free and lead directly outside to safe assembly zones within the shopping centre grounds.

Important Booking Information:
Please note that our events are heavily subsidised by Little Hiccups to support our community. Because the charity covers the remaining costs based on our final confirmed numbers (such as venue hire, refreshments, entertainers and presenter costs), we kindly ask that you let us know if your plans change. If you can no longer make it, please cancel your places by emailing events@littlehiccups.co.uk so we can reallocate the spots and prevent charity funds from being lost.
