The Advonet Group have over 20 years expertise in delivering high quality advocacy and developing innovative user led services.
We support people who feel that they are not being heard, or their needs are not being met by the public sector though support with self advocating, or if needed, advocating on their behalf. We have self advocacy resources on our website (https://advonet.org.uk/resources/self-advocacy-resources/) but we can also support people in person at hubs around the city, or via our remote hub (phone calls/ video calls etc.).
Our support is issue based, and people can have up to 2x 45 minute appointments per issue. It is a free service and we focus on what the person wants and how they wish to do it. We do not advise, but we can provide people with options as to how to resolve their concerns. If we feel that we can not provide support with a particular concern or feel that another organisation may be able to support the person better, we will signpost to other services.
