At Little Hiccups, we’re always looking for ways to make our community more inclusive, welcoming, and supportive for families with additional needs. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ve joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower!
You may have seen the Sunflower symbol in shops, airports, or public spaces. It’s a discreet way for people with non-visible disabilities to indicate that they may need a little extra time, understanding, or support. By joining the Sunflower, we’re making a clear commitment: everyone is welcome here, and everyone deserves to feel seen and supported.
What does this mean for our families?
§ Our team is now officially trained to recognise the Sunflower symbol and respond with empathy and understanding.
§ We’re continuing to learn and grow, listening to our families and adapting to their needs.
§ Sunflower lanyards featuring the Little Hiccups logo will be available at our events, helping families feel recognised and supported in a way that’s both personal and empowering.
We know that not all disabilities are visible, and sometimes the biggest challenges are the ones you can’t see. Whether it’s sensory processing difficulties, chronic pain, anxiety, or any other non-visible condition, we want you to know: we see you, we support you, and you belong here.
