We were absolutely thrilled to see Little Hiccups member Hooriya featured during a recent visit by broadcaster and documentary maker Louis Theroux to Martin House Children’s Hospice. Hooriya has been part of the Little Hiccups family for many years, and it was wonderful to see her confidence and personality shine as she took on a very special role for the day.
While Louis Theroux is usually the one asking the questions, this time Hooriya had the chance to turn the tables and become the interviewer. From asking about what he was like as a child to finding out his favourite chocolate, Hooriya kept Louis on his toes with her thoughtful and fun questions. The interview was full of smiles and laughter. It was lovely to see her embrace the opportunity and chat so comfortably with one of the UK’s most recognisable TV personalities.
Hooriya’s mum, Shamila, was also interviewed as part of this interview to raise awareness of the support Martin House Children’s Hospice offers. Shamila is a valued part of the team at Little Hiccups and we are very proud of both Shamila and Hooriya.
At Little Hiccups, we love celebrating the achievements and experiences of our members, and we couldn’t be prouder of Hooriya. A huge well done to Hooriya for doing such a fantastic job! Here is the link to watch the brilliant interview!
We know everyone at Little Hiccups will join us in congratulating Hooriya on this incredible experience. What a brilliant achievement and a story they will be able to tell for years to come!
