Breaking Down Barriers is a network of patient organisations, support groups and community networks working together to develop supportive and inclusive services for individuals and families affected by genetic conditions.
Most conditions are rare with as few as 70 members, to more common conditions with around 13,000 members. We also work with a number of over-arching and umbrella organisations in the charity sector. Collectively, we support over 500,000 members, plus families, carers and healthcare professionals.
