What an unforgettable afternoon! Following on from previous years, we hosted our annual Superhero Award Ceremony, and it truly remains one of the absolute highlights on the Little Hiccups calendar. The weather was simply beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, and most importantly, we got to celebrate the true superheroes in our lives: our incredible children and their families.
Our Extraordinary Award Winners
This year, we honoured 16 amazing children across our Mini Marvels and Teen Titans categories. Every single one of them was presented with their very own certificate, a shiny trophy, and a bag bursting with goodies. To keep things calm and comfortable, there was no spotlight or stage—our team went round to each family’s picnic spot so every child could have their special moment in their own way.
Because we know how much our brothers and sisters do too, every sibling who joined us received their own treat bag. We would never let anyone go without!
A Massive Thank You to Our Supporters
A celebration like this only happens with the generosity of our wonderful community partners:
- Iveridge Health Club: A huge thank you to the team at Iveridge Health Club for generously donating their beautiful venue for free. The peaceful outdoor grounds gave us the perfect relaxing backdrop, and so many of our families commented on how lovely the space felt.
- Lynn Gilboy Catering & Hospitality: The spread from Lynn Gilboy Catering & Hospitality was absolutely gorgeous. There was so much delicious food that families were even packing up bags to enjoy at home afterwards!
- Susie Sparkles: Our favourite magical entertainer had everyone smiling and laughing throughout the afternoon.
- Claire’s Face Painting: Thank you for transforming our little heroes with your fantastic face painting.
- Lush Leeds (White Rose): The hands-on bath bomb making workshop was a massive hit, giving our children a fun, sensory experience to take home.
It is such a privilege to give these children the recognition they so thoroughly deserve. Thank you to every family who came along, relaxed in the sunshine, and helped make the day so memorable.
