You guys deserve it. You really do. So when a parent approached me after the children’s Lush Party in January and asked for one for the parents, I thought it was a brilliant idea and got on it! And of course, Lush were very up for it!

The date was set for a Sunday at 5pm when the White Rose Centre was closed so it was nice and peaceful. And on arrival we were met by the lovely and incredibly friendly Lush team. After saying our hellos, we broke off into two groups and as a team we worked together to make a facemask. I was in the chocolate and coconut facemask and it smelt lovely! It almost looked like we were making cookies – but, I’m sure you will be pleased to know, that we didn’t succumb and sample any.

Then we sat down in 3 groups and had a lovely arm massage with massage bars. They come as solid bars for the warmth of your hands is enough to melt it enough to massage into our skin, leaving a smooth, silky residue that can be used as part of a massage. It was lovely during this to be able to just chat and catch up with each other as well. And to discuss our skin care regime. Mine is embarrassingly nothing more than a scrub in the shower! But I’ve been using the generous samples that Lush gave us to take home in our Party Bag and my skin does feel so much better.

It was a very popular event and we had several waiting on the waiting list for this one, so we are planning on running another very soon – so if you missed this slot – look out for the next! It’s well worth it.
