Last weekend, we embarked on an unforgettable journey back to the age of dinosaurs at Dinosaur World Live, hosted at the Quarry Theatre in Leeds Playhouse. This interactive show captivated audiences of all ages, offering a thrilling adventure that was both educational and entertaining.
An Epic Journey Through Prehistoric Times
Our adventure began as we joined an intrepid explorer navigating uncharted territories to uncover a world filled with astonishing and remarkably life-like dinosaurs. From the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex to the gentle giant Giraffatitan, we met a host of impressive creatures that left us in awe. The show also featured the Triceratops, Microraptor, and Segnosaurus, each brought to life with stunning realism.
Interactive Fun and Memorable Moments
One of the highlights of Dinosaur World Live was the special meet and greet session after the show. This unique opportunity allowed us to get up close and personal with our favourite dinosaurs, creating unforgettable memories. The excitement didn’t end there – we were treated to delicious ice creams in the Brooke Room during the interval, courtesy of Irwin Mitchell.
A Welcoming and Accessible Experience
Leeds Playhouse ensured that everyone could enjoy the show comfortably. The venue provided level access parking, wheelchair accessible lifts, low counters in the bars, café, and Box Office, and a hearing loop system in various areas. The Playhouse also offered accessible toilets, family cubicles, gender-neutral toilets, and a Changing Places toilet. Guide dogs and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf were welcomed, and transfer seats with removable arms and an in-house wheelchair were available by prior arrangement.
A Fantastic Time for All
We had a fantastic time at Dinosaur World Live. The Irwin Mitchell team and Little Hiccups team were on hand to meet and greet families. The show was a fun, entertaining, and mind-expanding Jurassic adventure that we will remember for years to come and we want to thank Irwin Mitchell for sponsoring this event for us and providing the ice cream!
