It was a COLD one on this visit to Sundown which snow deciding to fall this week. But that did not stop us from having the best time ever. It never does at Sundown. It’s where and when Christmas starts and that is one of the reasons why we book it at the beginning of December every year. And they help kick it off with a bang. We love to see Santa and Mrs Claus and as the evening falls, the lights come out and it really is the most magical and beautiful setting.
Sundown have been busy making accessibility improvements as well. We saw the introduction of Queue Assist last year for those that struggle with queuing. This year I noticed signs on every ride, giving details as to what to expect and any noises that may occur on the way round. Sometimes its just the little things.
I had a few parents feedback how great the staff were as well – how understanding and helpful. There is obviously an awareness at Sundown about additional needs – hidden or not, and it shows.
So a great time was had by all and I at least, am now ready for Christmas!

What our families say:
“Just a quick message to say thank you so much to everyone involved in making the trip to sundown yesterday happen. It was so well organized by little hiccups and we all had an absolutely fantastic time, the staff were so patient and caring towards our little one when one of the rides was a bit too much for her and she is already asking to visit again!”
