Hello all, my name is Dawnell and I decided to start 2024 right with my new volunteering venture. I have always loved being able to help others and believe true kindness is key to form bonds and relationships with others. Thoroughly enjoy baking treats for my friends and family and love learning new skills each and very day. Everyday for me is a day to grow, reflect and appreciate things in front of me, especially when it comes to meeting new people   Interesting fact: My name means sunshine and I am hoping to have a bright path through my new volunteering venture. I have previously worked as a nanny and that role cemented the love I have caring for children of all ages. It also cemented to me that I can provide love and care to any child I interact with, which has fuelled my determination to adopt and foster children within my future.

I have background qualifications in peer mentoring children from the ages of 4 to 16, whether that is to do with life skills development or subject tutoring i.e. maths or physical education.
